I tried the Korean flavor, roasted pistachio, Kumquat black tea tart, and lemon sorbet. Just a heads up, you can choose two flavors per cup. The Korean flavor, Joseon Hyangmi, was sweet but not overly so, with a delightful hint of cinnamon that was perfectly balanced. The texture was intriguing, with rice grains providing a pleasant crunch. The roasted pistachio was both savory and refreshing, leaving a clean aftertaste that didn’t make my mouth feel overly sweet or sticky, even after indulging one scoop after another. The Kumquat black tea tart was bursting with flavors, featuring a light earl grey base, kumquat compote, and tart crumble. The combination of sweet and savory danced on my taste buds. The lemon sorbet served as a delightful palate cleanser. Its lemony snow crystals were refreshingly cool and melted on the tongue, leaving a crisp aftertaste that made me feel happy. I could easily enjoy Zenzero’s gelato every day.
Zenzero’s menu changes frequently, offering gelato made from seasonal fruits and unique ingredient combinations that are hard to come by elsewhere. The place is quite popular for its gelato, and they seem to handle many delivery orders. The shop itself is small with only about three tables for seating, but they do offer delivery services across Seoul. If you can’t make it to the shop, consider placing an order for delivery. I’ll definitely be coming back here again. You can find Zenzero just 300 meters from Exit 1 of Gangnam-gu Office Station. Given its proximity to the Gangnam-gu Office, the area is bustling with office workers, especially during lunch hours.
