It all began with Cheese Katsu. The mozzarella cheese stretches out smoothly. They seem to have a technique to keep it from becoming too stiff. As you chew, the nutty flavor spreads. The soft cheese melts gently in your mouth. The meat is thin, and when you eat it with the crispy batter, the texture becomes even more appealing. There’s a lot of cheese. I ordered 6 pieces, but even 4 pieces seem enough for two people to share. The Pork Cutlet is incredibly tender. There’s also a generous portion. If you’re sensitive to portion sizes, you’ll be satisfied. The inside is tender, and the outside is crispy. The batter gives a crunchy sensation similar to biting into an apple. It seems like it was fried very well. The shape is not the usual round pork cutlet but a longer one.
Timing is really important to visit here. Since it’s in an area with many office workers, avoiding lunchtime can help you avoid waiting. After 11 AM, many office workers come in quickly, so keep that in mind. Harang is about 300 meters from Seolleung Station Exit 2. It’s a place with many office buildings, so you’ll have a pleasant feeling. Since it’s close to COEX Starfield, walking to Samsung Station after your meal is also a good option.
