It’s the perfectly grilled meat on the grill. The rich charcoal aroma from the meat is dominant. Accompanying the meat are lightly Korean-inspired vegetables and a nuoc mam sauce. I ordered the nuoc mam shower, and as I lifted the tender noodles that easily broke apart, I took a bite along with the meat. There’s a tangy flavor mingling with the char-grilled essence. The intense meaty flavor and the zesty sauce blend harmoniously with the delicate juices from the vegetables. Now I understand why everyone recommends the charcoal-grilled rice noodles. The subtle smoky aroma continues to waft up. The tender noodles soak in the broth, creating a delightful slurping sensation. Adding a touch of garlic vinegar enhances the depth of flavors.

It’s like a piece of Vietnam in Itaewon. Located right by the Itaewon Station Exit 2, the local staff greet you from the entrance. The spacious setting would be perfect for gatherings or family outings. I was initially concerned about the taste and cleanliness due to the restaurant’s 24-hour operation, but my worries were unfounded. This place is far from disappointing – it’s a hidden gem that puts all concerns at ease.
