We ordered one order each of stir-fried blood sausage with vegetables and vegetable intestines. They also provided fish cake skewers and tteokbokki as a service. The intestines are piled up like a mountain. It’s a portion that seems like it’s for three people but is meant for two. If you’re a customer, consider it a one-person portion that feels like it’s for two. It’s spicy yet flavorful. The stir-fried intestines have a moist texture, not overly cooked. It’s pleasantly moist, and although such moist stir-fries can sometimes taste foul if not cooked properly, there’s no trace of that here. The chewy intestines dance in your mouth. The seasoning is just right. Dipping the intestines into a mix of teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise is a delightful experience as well. The spicy stir-fried blood sausage is also delicious. The rich flavor of the stir-fry sauce is evident. The vegetables mixed in are fresh. Overall, the seasoning is not overpowering but perfectly balanced. The moderate spiciness keeps you reaching for more. Despite not having had the stir-fried rice yet, I’m already full. The generous portion reflects the owner’s generosity.
The restaurant is located close to Geumho-dong apartments. Being near a subway station makes it easy to find. You can find it by heading down from Exit 1 of Geumho Station. The establishment is relatively small, with about four indoor tables and two outdoor ones. They receive more delivery orders than dine-in customers. The fact that all the ingredients are domestically sourced adds to the trustworthiness. I hope this place continues to thrive. The owner is friendly, and the service of providing tteokbokki and fish cake skewers is noteworthy. From now on, when I visit Wangsimni, I’ll probably head straight to Onamme Gopchang.
