You must try their chestnut dessert. Use a fork to dig deep from the top to the bottom, and taste all the layers in one bite. The chestnut mousse has a sweet flavor, and the hazelnut adds a nutty aroma. The crunchy part called choux craquelin at the bottom provides a rich sweetness, and the black currant gel adds a tangy presence. It’s not too sweet. The dessert combines smooth, creamy, crunchy, and sticky textures, like a little show in your mouth. Paris-Brest is one of the chef’s signature dishes, made with pistachio cream. In short, it has a deep and slightly bitter taste, but the sweet and salty flavor of caramel cream, hazelnut, and pistachio complement each other perfectly. It might be the best match with coffee.
I wish they moved near my home. It’s a selfish thought, but I really wish they did. I could eat three of these every day. This place truly lets you experience the charm of P’tit Gรขteau. Kirill is located in an alley between Deungchon Station and Jeungmi Station in Gangseo-gu. It’s in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood alley. Inside, there are only four tables in this cozy little shop. It’s better to go early.
