Intestines, a favorite spot among Busan locals, nestled in Gamman-dong, Nam-gu. It’s a neighborhood that might seem unfamiliar to tourists at first glance, but the striking red signboard catches your eye, hinting at its expertise. Even from a distance, you can feel the allure. Parking can be a challenge due to limited space, but you can utilize the nearby Tongil Parking Lot, with Pungnyeon Gopchang providing a complimentary one-hour parking ticket.
To start, I ordered three servings of grilled intestines. The intestines, meticulously cleaned, are placed raw on the grill and slowly cooked, allowing the flavors to meld with the grill’s essence. Skillfully sliced into bite-sized pieces, they’re then doused in seasoning sauce for an extra kick.
The texture is incredibly chewy and irresistible. After finishing one piece, you’ll find yourself reaching for the next without hesitation. The portions are generous, and they pair exceptionally well with chives and garlic, which help balance out the richness of the dish. And don’t forget to order the fried riceβit’s a must-try. Cooked on the griddle with intestines oil, it’s simply divine.
