I took a quick trip to Taiwan, and oddly enough, it felt like a real journey. Over in Busan’s Seomyeon, you’re in for some tidy grub. Every little detail here contributes to a unique vibe. Nestled on the second floor, it was packed during my lunch visit – not a seat to spare.
Bao, those Taiwanese-style steamed buns, are a must-try. The pork belly’s thick, so it’s a one-bite wonder. They’re small, so you’ll want at least a couple to fill up. The dough’s chewy, and the meat’s got a satisfying firmness.
But hey, don’t skip out on the Szechuan Spicy Eggplant while you’re in Busan. It’s where this place truly shines. The crispy outside and juicy inside? Absolutely enchanting. And that crispy batter? It’s pure eggplant magic.
Now, onto the beef noodle soup, piping hot and bursting with flavor you can only find here. Eating here felt like stumbling upon a Taiwan street sign that promised authenticity – and boy, did it deliver.
Oh, and you’ve got to give the Mapo Tofu a whirl. Its soft texture’s a winner, but watch out for the spice. This dish hits all the right taste buds and is an absolute must-try.
