On my visit, I couldn’t resist ordering the Terrazza Original Spring Onion Sauce Pasta โ€“ a definite must-try when you’re here. The fragrance of spring onions is utterly tantalizing. They insist on mixing it swiftly while it’s piping hot, so they take care of that for you. What makes the Tagliatelle unique is that they’re crafted from raw noodles. The thick sauce, created from leek broth, seeps into these uncooked noodles. The Porcino bread crumbs, both crispy and savory, contribute a delightful crunch to the pasta. Now, onto the White Ragรน Sauce Pasta โ€“ here, the noodles are thin, distinct from the raw variety. These noodles boast a delightful chewiness and flavor. It’s a tad saltier than your typical pasta, offering a delightful kick of spice. And let’s not forget the Sous Vide Scrambled Truffles โ€“ a somewhat unique choice. It’s a soft scrambled egg quilt perched atop toasted sourdough. The subtle truffle notes, combined with Reggiano cheese, create a marvelous fusion. My recommendation? Dive into various raw noodle pasta flavors and pair them with wine for the full experience.

I stumbled upon an Italian gem in Gangnam โ€“ Cuccolo Terrazza, which translates to ‘casual wine bar’ in Italian. It’s known as the culinary abode of Chef Kim Ji-woon, renowned for his Volpino, Maremma, and Cucolo dishes, and Sommelier Kang Hyun-gyu, a devoted natural wine aficionado. The eatery predominantly features bar tables, while the terrace seats offer a different ambiance โ€“ bask in the sunlight during the day and enjoy the romantic candlelit evenings. You’ll find it conveniently located near Dosan Park. Nowadays, Apgujeong Rodeo and Garosu-gil are bustling with young people, so if you’re seeking a taste of Korea’s youthful spirit, head over here to soak in the latest fashion and culture trends.
