I visited Mia Nonna, a renowned brunch spot in Seongsu. It was beloved in Mangwon-dong before relocating to Seongsu-dong. I admired the well-arranged interior, characterized by warm wood tones. As I settled in, sunlight poured in through the expansive windows.

Choosing the SRT sandwich left me in a dilemma. The walnut grain bread was a departure from the norm for me. However, they say there’s a first time for everything. The bread boasted a perfect texture, crisp on the outside and delightfully soft inside, infused with a savory, grainy essence. Its warm, rapid delivery only heightened the savory experience. Packed with salami, arugula, tomato, onion, and havarti cheese, the sandwich offered both satisfaction and flavor, with each ingredient exuding freshness.

On the other hand, the Jambon-beurre sandwich embraced simplicity with its combination of ham, butter, and essentials. When it comes to basic fare, quality reigns supreme. Mia Nonna’s rendition excelled in delivering precisely that. The blend of premium turkey ham and butter was spot-on, rendering the Jambon-beurre light and savory, yet never overwhelming. Complemented by a crispy baguette with a delightful buttery aroma, it provided a refreshing balance. The accompanying carrot rappรฉ served as a palate-cleansing touch.
