I ordered the ‘Him Ramen.’ I added a tasty egg, bamboo shoot side dish, green onion, seaweed, spinach, and extra pork slices. Before eating the ramen, you have to taste the broth first. That’s where it all begins. The thickness and richness of the broth determine how good it will be. The broth is really rich. It’s a bit salty and would go really well with rice rolled into it. The broth is made with a soy sauce base mixed with pork and chicken, and that’s probably why it’s so flavorful and clean. This is Ike-style ramen. The noodles are thick and chewy, which adds to its charm. You can slurp them right up. The chashu pork is also tender. And at the end, you must roll rice into the remaining broth to finish it off just right.

You can place your order at the kiosk outside. Drinks can be bought from the vending machine outside. There are bar-style tables in an ‘L’ shape. They only sell 120 bowls a day. Around 2 PM is a good time to go when it’s not too busy. It’s close to Apgujeong Rodeo Station exits 5 and 6. Apgujeong Rodeo Station is a nice area for shopping and sightseeing. The streets are spacious and pleasant, so it’s worth a visit. Just a note, during weekdays’ lunchtime, there might be many office workers, so plan your visit accordingly.
