One slice wouldn’t cut it for me, so I went for the half-and-half option. I picked the pepperoni, the heart and soul of any pizza, and balanced it with the classic Margherita to contrast the saltiness. The pizza is no slouch in size, but don’t let that intimidate you. It’s a true NY-style pizza with a thin crust, so it won’t weigh you down. After devouring two slices, I felt as light as a feather. Each slice goes down smooth. The pepperoni had that perfect crunch, and it was baked to perfection. You could taste the ham’s flavor, not just the saltiness. It’s the real deal, tasting just like the ones I had in New York โ€“ not overly salty, just the right amount to keep you sipping. I also sprinkled some crushed peppers on the side for that extra kick. It’s exactly my kind of thing. The Margherita was beautifully baked, with the toppings on the dough still retaining their moisture. The combination of melted cheese, tomato sauce, and basil is a flavor explosion. But what truly sets this place apart is the dough. Thin and crispy, it lets the toppings shine through. The crust maintains its crispiness all the way through, with those beautiful bubbles turning black and crispy from the blazing hot oven.

This pizzeria has been dishing out greatness since 2018 and has built quite a reputation. Their quest for New York-style pizza authenticity starts with premium ingredients and the use of a branded brick oven actually employed in New York. That’s how they nail that authentic flavor. It’s been a while since I’ve encountered an American-style pizzeria like this. The vibe outside screams New York hipness, and inside, there are two large tables. Kanye’s tunes set the mood. Your body can’t help but groove to the beat. The owner even gets you warmed up before diving into your pizza โ€“ a thoughtful touch. It’s only about 400 meters from Exit 3 of Munjeong Station. By the way, there’s also a branch in Seocho, so if you’re in the neighborhood, don’t miss out.
